Team Builders: Lillian Gray

Lillian’s infectious personality and strong work ethic make her a natural fit within our Interior Design department. Lil’, as friends call her, is a recent graduate from The University of Alabama's College of Human Environmental Sciences. She has a strong attention to detail, and a desire to learn and grow in the field. Her creative and technical skills and her contagious smile have made her transition to TURNERBATSON extremely smooth. When she’s not at the office, this Trussville native is trying new foods, planning her next trip, or catching up on E! News.

The creation and the resurrection.

4. Why did you choose this profession?

Interior design allows me to have fun and enjoy my job! I love working in a creative yet structured environment.

5. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?

My first trip would be to the Holy Land. Then, I would visit Greece for its food. I’ve always loved Greek food, so I bet the authentic cuisine is even better!Interior Design6. What would your autobiography be called?

“Your Average Lil’ Life” – I tend to do my own little thing and enjoy the simple things in life. This would take you on a journey of my average (but awesome) lifestyle.

7. What intrigued you about our company?

The core values of People. Passion. Purpose. At TURNERBATSON, we are surrounded by good influences who lift each other up. I love the fact that we can talk about our faith and are encouraged to live it out all seven days of the week.

8. What is your favorite building (any building ever)?

The Opéra national de Paris. The exterior is beautiful, but the interior is crazy! The paintings and interior design are so detailed.

9. Tell us something extra about yourself.

I cheered for 10 years through elementary and high school both competitively and on the sidelines. I enjoyed competitive cheering a little more because of the energy and competitive atmosphere.

10. Tell us about your experience so far at TURNERBATSON.

You guys have exceeded my expectations! It’s been such a smooth transition, and everyone is super welcoming. I’ve been able do a little bit of everything from Revit to Sketch-up to selecting finishes. I’m quickly learning the way TURNERBATSON works!
