This thriving downtown Baptist Church was in need of a radical master plan vision to unite five distinct buildings. TurnerBatson suggested a centrally located "living room" for the congregation. Our team designed and led a multi-phased renovation featuring a complicated three-story atrium that now unifies the entire campus. A grand staircase gives a welcoming gesture to visitors, provides convenient access to all areas of the campus, and has also become a favorite spot for weddings at the church.

Implementation of this plan required abandoning an alley, rerouting utilities, shoring existing building footings, and excavating to connect to key parts of the facility. Other renovations within the church included recreation, children's ministries, youth ministries, the fellowship hall, and the kitchen.
