The addition and renovations to Fox Run School will consist of approximately 70,000 square feet of new space designed to accommodate two full grades of Opelika students. The building more than doubles the capacity of students and is being built in reaction and anticipation of thriving population growth in the city. The existing facility was completed in 2023 and was designed to house the system’s entire 5^th grade.

The addition to the school will include a two-story classroom wing as well as a new media center designed to foster collaboration, creativity, and student engagement. A new gymnasium and activity room will allow flexible multipurpose space to support student activities. The gymnasium will also function as a storm shelter for additional occupants facility.

Project renovations will include creating a larger dining environment for the existing cafeteria. Site improvements will enhance campus accessibility, circulation, and overall functionality, ensuring the school is well-equipped to serve its growing community for years to come.
