As founders of the New Urbanist Community, The Preserve — a USS Real Estate Development — envisioned a corporate headquarters in the community that would celebrate their 150-year history and provide an important transition between residential and commercial.

This 17,000 square-foot project is located adjacent to the 250-acre Moss Rock Preserve and sits in the Town Center of this traditional neighborhood community. The design was intended to highlight a longtime commitment to conservation, stewardship, and community.

In collaboration with design architect Gary Justiss, this three-story building was designed with two different facades that incorporate vintage New Orleans flair and beautifully styled Georgian design. The building consists of office and storage space, retail spaces, and a large, open outdoor lanai area for corporate and community gatherings.
