TURNERBATSON has named a new Associate to its leadership team. NCIDQ Certified Interior Designer Mary-Claire Brown will play pivotal roles in shaping the future of the firm.

“Mary-Claire has been a creative and collaborative influence in our firm for years. We are thrilled to formalize and amplify her quiet, confident leadership,” said TURNERBATSON President Dave Reese. “She is highly talented and a joy to work with.”

Mary-Claire has been a key part of the TURNERBATSON interior design team since graduating from The University of Alabama’s College of Human Environmental Sciences in 2016. Her award-winning designs have elevated projects for clients in the education, religious, healthcare, and commercial sectors. Most recently, she was the lead interior designer for Adamsville Elementary School’s Media Center and Ferus Artisan Ales, which both received 2021 IIDA IDIE Awards.

She has served on the IIDA Alabama Board of Directors for four years and currently serves as the Past President for the Alabama Chapter. In this role she oversees and communicates activities of the internal organization, establishes goals, and coordinates budgets and plans for Chapter events.
